I’m off to the Global Evidence Summit next week! I’m very excited because the focus is on global health on a policy and evidence-based medicine level. I am also excited because it is in Prague! I booked an open-jaw layover so I’ll be in Switzerland for 23 hours. I am either going to go to Bern to jump in the Aare or hike the Stoos ridge. It may be a little cool for the Aare, but I am leaning towards that even if it may be a shock to the system. Then, I’ll be in Prague for the workweek. Monday is a tourist day since a workshop I enrolled in was cancelled (boo hoo). Tuesday-Friday are the conference and on Friday evening, I fly to Vienna for a quick 36ish hours. I am so excited! I know the itinerary is slightly packed, but I love traveling this way. A little bit is better than nothing, right? (This is in reference to Bern and Vienna, mostly).
We also have a lot of visitors- at least for us! SMS’ sister is coming this weekend. I’ll be here for about half her stay so that’s good news! The next weekend, SMS’ childhood friend arrives. Finally, my excellent in-laws Linda and Rip will be here the first weekend in November for wine (tasting)! We’re going to show off our new club membership to Hall by taking them to all the tasting rooms!

Oh, how exciting! I have never been to any of the places you are going, but it sounds like it will be incredible. Also, yay to family visits! You will have a great time and make good use of your new Hall membership! We’re going wine tasting tomorrow I think, but we’ll be in Sonoma, not Napa.
