Happy Fall! There are so many beautiful oaks and maples in surrounding neighborhoods that I’m getting my fill of Fall foliage. SMS and I saw the tree above during our jog yesterday. It makes me very happy.

Happy Veteran’s Day. Tonight is my last night on call and even if everything hits the fan, it’s been a pretty chill call week. Yay! I deserve it!

On Saturday, we had a chaotic Zoom with my family. My sister and one of my brothers were in Chicago with their families while my other brother and his family were in Florida. It was so much fun to see everyone. Hearing everyone was a slightly different matter since the Zoom audio was a little glitchy with all the inputs. But I learned about Harry Potter puzzles, legos, squshmellows, and other fun kid trends.

And yes, on a call weekend, there was a little bit of work. I was at work until mid-afternoon on Saturday for two OR cases. They weren’t the biggest cases in the world but it took awhile to get everything situated, especially for the first case. There was a chance of something very bad happening (arterial rupture) so we had our team and vascular surgery in case the worst case scenario occurred. Which fortunately, it didn’t!
I love the foliage this time of year! I’m glad work wasn’t crazy. 🙂
Same! 🙂
The fall foliage is so gorgeous right now. And I love a chaotic Zoom call with family – we do these weekly 🙂
